Unresponsive touchscreen

Taps and swipes recently stopped working. The time displays when I turn my wrist but nothing happens when I tap or swipe. Any ideas on how to resolve this? Very frustrating - can’t even get to the shut down button.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared with me, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To resolve this, I suggest you to restart your Ionic device following the next steps:

 

  1. For Fitbit Ionic, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. 
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

I’ve been working with the Support team. We’ve tried several techniques with no luck. They are in the process of replacing my Ionic. I appreciate the support and response.

Mine too. If I do a reset touch screen works for a few hours then totally unresponsive. Waiting on FITBIT support for help on a fix

Mine was still under warranty so they are replacing it.

I was informed by our Support team that they provided you assistance with the difficulties experienced with your Ionic devices, therefore, my best recommendation at this moment will be to contact them back if you require further assistance or if you have any additional questions about the outcome of your case with them.
