All attempts (tried multiple times) - uninstalling/reinstalling program, turning bluetooth, phone, and watch off and on and unpairing and resetting up as new - resulted in no correction of the problem. Fitbit needs to fix this.

How did we as users ruin your experience @MietteTH? Are you asking about the Blaze, Ionic, or the Fitbit App on your, I mentioned phone model, which is where notifications come originate?
Are you asking for help?

Over the last 8 years I've met many Fitbit owners, and I can count on one hand, without using all 5 fingers, the users that had more than simple to fix errors. However this being a community help board, those that need help, seem to want to post. Those that are happy, in general, do not post. I know 5 people who still are happy with their Blaze. I gave mine away and this was one of the first to be shipped out.

@Rich_Laue ive had my ionic for over 2 years, its always updated, sometimes with and sometimes without problems, syncing has always been achieved maybe on occasion with several tries.
Ive never experienced any issues getting music on my ionic and ive often wondered where people are having issues getting music on their device.
The issues with the last firmware update however are very real, anyone who has read the multiple entries on these forums would realise that with all the help from customer services and just getting offered a discount ticket that these issues are not easy fixes. Mods here have told me my issues would be fed back to fitbit and i could expect a reply in a few days, almost 3 months on and im still waiting. The silence is deafening!.
Im glad youre experience with your ionic doesnt require too many fingers, but after excellent service from my charge 2 and 2 years of ok use from my ionic, im using 2 of my fingers and sticking them up to fitbit, and this could for so many on these pages have been avoided, a simple post saying yes there are issues and were working towards fixing , would have gone a very long way.
Fitbit know about our issues Rich, they know the latest software caused those issues, they know that theyre not simple fixes to the way people are using/updating their devices,as youve suggested.
These issues are real.
