After updated, I fully charged my ionic to 100 percent. Then I turned the watch off and restart right away, now I have to press all three buttons for more than 10 seconds to turn it on which is weird. After the watch turned on the battery dropped from 100 percent to 71 percent. Does anyone have the same problem?

Had same issue. Customer support says it has nothing to do with update, but problem started immediately after update. They suggest turning all features off to save battery. If no features can be used why have a Fitbit...I can just wear a watch. My suggestion is to buy a different brand.

Yep same for me used to get 4-5 days comfortably but straight away after update battery is going about 5% per hour so won't last a full 24 hours!

Same issue after latest update, fully charged today Ionic lost 50% charge over 7 hour period, so will not even last a day at this rate.

Question is. What device loses power when it's off.. and to turn it back on you have to manually reset it.

Yep had mine turned off and it's died, charged yesterday and in 2 hours lost 12% contracted Fitbit today and they say that's expected. I ended up getting really frustrated with them as they were just fobbing me off and treating me like an idiot. Think I'll be waiting for them to release a fix then selling and jumping ship to Garmin or polar or Samsung

The update obviously has some sort of issue as mine has gone the same. Was getting 4 or 5 days off a charge, and now its gone from 60% to 14% in one day.
Fitbit clearly don't give a monkeys any more.

Same problem here as well. Not only is mine draining battery, but I get a blank screen most of the time. It is quickly turning itself into a worthless paperweight.

i wear a charge 2 as a normal watch and loved how i could turn off and easily turn back on my Ionic which i wear only for exercise. With the update I have the same restart problems, so last night i didnt turn off , went to bed @100% and 0% this morning, around 8 hours. My ionic is almost 2 years old and this is the first update that has caused any problem for me.

My battery life also took a nose dive. Have to charge it every other day since updating it. Prior to update, I was getting 4 days easily (and could get 5 if I went all the way from 100% down to single digits). Guess I'll be looking for a new watch soon. So many issues and poor customer service. It's too bad. I liked the products when they worked...
