Update to my Ionic it does not complete

When trying to update my Ionic it does not complete the process. It gets to about Half way and stops.... I have tried to update via Wifi and also Bluetooth.  If I try to reboot the watch it will not allow the Exercise app to launch.  When pressed it looks like it starts to launch then reverts back to the Exercise icon.

I think at this point I would probably do a factory reset, have you tried that? It could be possible that the incomplete update has corrupted some of the OS files.

 

Be sure to remove the Ionic from your account before you attempt a factory reset.
