When I try to update my ionic from the Fitbit app on my iPhone, a message pops up that says "Your device is busy, please try it a few minutes later." I this a problem with my Ionic of my iPhone? Also how can I update my ionic without this happening?

Are you truing to update through Wi-Fi or through Bluetooth? Also, was your watch sufficiently charged before the update?
I'd recommend checking and trying these troubleshooting steps. This should certainly help you out with this. It show steps for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options.
Alternatively, you can try the following:
