Very Inaccurate Steps being recorded on non-dominant wrist

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just got this new Ionic yesterday, love it so far!  Only problem is that I noticed that I am already at over 2000 steps today and I didn't even go anywhere.  I understand it will pickup slight movements and stuff, but its very difficult to accurately measure or monitor steps etc.  How can I fix this to be more accurate?

Thanks!

It appears that your wrist movement in your non-dominant hand is great enough to trigger step counting. One way to reduce the sensitivity of the unit is to switch the setting to dominant hand even while wearing it on the non-dominant. Try this and see if it helps.
