Hi.
How can i check exactly how much warranty is remaining on my Fitbit?
It was bought as a gift.

12 months from the purchase date on the receipt would be my guess.
No receipt then Fitbit may not provide a warranty service.
Having said that, I had a Versa replaced January last year after it flooded when swimming. I wasn't able to provide a receipt - but one of the mods here Ricardo - on the help desk was instrumental in mine being replaced by Fitbit. Good service as I couldn't prove the purchase date.
Likewise I have a secondhand Ionic I purchased unused (never setup) 2-3 months ago. No receipt as it was a gift to the person I purchased from, and the family member who bought it couldn't locate the receipt when I asked if I could have it.
I'm slightly worried what will happen in the next 9 months if it dies. No guarantee Fitbit will look after me as they did for the Versa.
Touch wood, all working fine - although I won't swim with it without a receipt. Too risky!

Generally with gifts you don't always get the receipt, most items you register online when you first use it. As you use your fitbit onlinr erith an app it should be fairly easy to check first use of a fitbit. This would give a reasonable accuracy to age of it.
They don't seem to have serial numbers.

Good points. I guess Fitbit can also see that the device hasn't previously been setup and used. Although, the Versa I had, HAD previously been linked to a Fitbit account. Probably could tell remotely that it wasn't that old - or perhaps were just feeling generous? 😀
Still, good service without a receipt. Had a similar positive response from HP with a dead laptop. They replaced it as their system had all the info about it's age and warranty credentials - even though I had no receipt. Good service does help with loyalty.
