Watch bands to small.....

Will the ionic take an aftermarket watchband?  I am a big guy with a wrist size of 9.6 inches.   Watches have always been a problem for me, but I would love to buy a ionic.   However the bands are to small according to the cut out sheet.

I am concerned it is now October, I can not find an Ionic band that is big enough for me to wear the Ionic. I can not wear it without a bigger band, so I will not purchase the Ionic until I find the proper band.

I agree the bands are too small. My wrist is not as large as yours, only 8.5, but with my arthritic wrists I can not have the band too tight as it causes a lot of pain.

Couple of options for you.  I actually changed the family over to Garmin products.  I went with the Fenix 5x and love it.  My wife has a vivoactive 3 in white coming tomorrow.

However if your stuck on fitbit brand, I found a guy on Etsy, Rocket Locker that makes custom bands for almost every watch.  I liked his style and ordered one.  It is enroute now, but his reviews were great.  There are a some other people that will make a custom band.  My wrist is actually 10 inches exactly, I had to measure for the new band.

Good luck in whatever you do.  I gave up on Fitbit, seems they are going the way of ambercrombie and finch...... Only want a certain type of person to wear their products.  I'm sure after sales slowdown, they will have a large band come out after "the community asked for it" sure seems like they don't want "bigger" people wearing their new flagship products, even though we hales them become rich and popular.

I think bigger people would be better off spending their money on dieting and weigh themselves every day. 9 inches is the size of my legs.

I strongly recommend googling on YouTube "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead", it will change your life.

Do you  assume I am some morbidly obese person or something because you have small legs?  Have you ever been in a gym?  If I was asking for dieting advise and tips I would have stated that in my post.  Do you also assume I am having financial difficulties? Maybe you can set me up a gofund me page.

Go troll someone else.  Also, before you make derogatory remarks about other people, at least man up and have the guts to put a picture of yourself on your profile.

Same issue. Large band too small. Only one with XL was the surge but have screen issue. Have to return it. Why stop at X for their band! Cannot buy it.

Hmm I missed this. So why do you need such a big strap?

Actually I regularly go overweight, yes I get fat (shock horror I mentioned the word). I have a fondness for pizza. I also do juice diets that can last 20-40 days. I strongly recommend watching the video I posted, saved my life I think. If you find what I wrote offensive that says a lot about yourself imho. BTW juicing can be quite expensive, regardless I'm not sure why you would think I would even consider or care about your financial situation. Nor do I care about your photo. My legs are far from "small" lol. I'm making a serious comment, some may even find it helpful.

Sorry  you have skinny legs.  No amount of dieting will make my bones smaller. Bone to bone my wrist measures 8.625".  To assume someone with larger dimensions than yourself, need outside help to conform your ideal of yourself and others indicates lack of diversity of thought. We are not all made from the same mold. You might try reading a book on empathy.
