I have had my watch since October, the screen recently started flashing and now it will hold a charge less than a day. Is Fitbit replacing these watches directly? I want the tracking and use it daily. Bought this one exclusively for the waterproof capabilities. I want a replacement for what I paid. Should have gone with the Apple watch.

Unfortunately, @ST25, your 45-day refund period has expired. Have you tried restarting Ionic to see if that fixes it. If that does not fix it, you need to contact Fitbit Support so that they can help resolve these issues.
