Watch will not keep time

Support,

I showed up to work 15 min late this morning, when my watch said I was still 5 min early. My Fitbit IONIC has lost nearly 20 min time over night. My managers response… “Get a $20 Casio from Walmart”. This is the second time in 3 months my watch lost time and the first where it actually caused me to be late to something. I have been researching this issue and have done everything I have found to try. Actually, while sitting here writing this email, I just watched my watch reboot itself while sitting on the table.

1. I have restarted the watch

2. I have restarted my phone

3. I have tried to sync with my phone

4. I have tried to reconnect my phone

5. I have deleted the Bluetooth settings in my phone and tried to reconnect it

Additional issues

1. The watch will not reconnect to my phone

2. The watch will not connect to my Wi-Fi to receive the software updates

3. The watch will not take updates over Bluetooth prior to this issue

Ultimately this is a WATCH… I should not need to connect a WATCH, to a phone so the WATCH can tell time correctly. I have lost all faith in this watch and will no longer wear it without a replacement. I am a very proficient IT and I have performed far above and beyond what I should to make a WATCH tell time. I bought this IONIC when they first came out and likely the warranty is out. What are my options to having this replaced without buying a new one? At $250+ I should be able to wear this watch for many years to come, yet, I am now in trouble with my job because my WATCH cannot tell time. Lastly, the IONIC has GPS built in. As an IT for the Navy, I have worked a lot with satellites and there is a timing bit in the signal these things use to calculate position. Why in the world do you not pull that timing bit from the signal? My grandmothers 1990 atomic clock at home can do this.
