What can I do?
Very little. Nothing to be precise. You can't dry it out. Sticking it in a bag of Rice won't help as it is reasonably air tight so water can't be drawn out. Unfortunately you found out the hard way that many, many Ionic and Versa devices ARE NOT manufactured and certified to a high enough standard for water sports - or sometimes simply dunking it in water. Do a thread search, this has been discussed many, many times previously.
They may be marketed as swim proof. I don't need to repeat my previous thoughts on that.

I feel your pain!
I don't swim or shower with my Ionic. Too risky!
