Weather app not working

So my Fitbit weather app is not working. It says sync the Fitbit mobile app to update. I have don’t this, i have location services on, my Fitbit is set to sync all day. I have read many of the troubleshooting already and still can’t get it to work

I had to turn on location services always in iOS (not only when using the app) for current location to work. Did you set a location in weather app in the Fitbit app on your phone? I also added in my home city and that comes up always as well.

as of right now the only location on the list is "Current Location" I tried to add other location and i can search a city but not able to add it.It will not let me select a new city. So i have no idea whats going on

I'm using Iphone / IOS. I uninstalled/deleted the entire Fitbit app and reinstalled. This solved a lot of my issues. Once reinstalled, to get location services working with weather is not intuitive. You need to go to the dashboard "weekly exercise" tile and touch the stopwatch in the upper right hand corner then choose "Track". You should get a pop up requesting the use of "Location services". Now the fitbit app will show up in Iphone's Settings>Privacy>Location Services>Fitbit. Change "Allow Location Access" to "Always".

 

There may be a better way but I could not find it. Weather app working reliably for two days now.
