Week start date - how long to take effect?

I just went into the dashboard on my PC and updated my start date for my week to Monday.  I noticed that it was originally set as Sunday.  My thought is that Monday is a fresh start in terms of fitness goals, and the weekends offer an opportunity to 'catch up' if you're behind your targets for the week.

Anyway, I sync'd the Ionic after making the change online.  When I go into my app on my phone and click on my "Today steps" the report that is being generated still shows Saturday as the last day of the previous weeks, and "This week" still includes Sunday and today (Monday) instead of just today.

When can I expect the display to match the week starting on Monday?

Hi @dermbrian,

I believe it takes effect the following week. It would get confused with the weekly stats if it changed it mid-week.

Also, make sure you perform an app sync whenever you change a setting on the web dashboard.

Hope this helps.

I hope you're right.    I'm afraid that it might never change on the Android App after reading other suggestion posts in the community.  Apparently the web dashboard view can do it.  iOS can do it on Apple phones.  But the app on android may not reflect the change made in the web dashboard settings and there is no way to change it directly on the phone.

So, I may be stuck with the Android App always giving me reports that have the week start on Sunday.

But it's not a bug, right?  Arrggghhh.

If anyone knows definitively how to have the Android fitbit app give results tabulated by week with the week starting on Monday, I'd like to hear from them.
