When mobile app updates, Quick Reply configuration vanishes

My mobile app recently received an updated.  Upon doing so all my custom text/emojis configured in the Quick Replies were gone and reverted back to defaults.  I had to reconfigure all of them once again.

Bad form, Fitbit programmers.  Bad, indeed.  If you're not going to preserve configuration files between versions then you're just being sloppy.

If we are refferring to the android app custom replys where being lost without anything being updated.

I'm not sure which of the apps are being referred to here.

A recent update supposedly fixed this.

FYI, this is still an issue in May 2020! Happened to me on last two updates. All custom app Quick Replies or changes to Defaults get reset back to original Defaults only. Have to keep setting them up each time. Nice one Fitbit! Seems such an easy code change: 'If Custom-Replies in (Apps) Exist Then Keep!'
