I currently need a new Fitbit due to defects with my old one. I have the option of getting a discount, and I'm wondering if the Ionic will become eligible for this program before my discount runs out.

Its not until OCT. Not sure when but I have seen Oct 3 do not know if its true or not

No one but Fitbit can answer that, but at a guess I would say not until initial  demand has at least died down. There is the chance it may never be though.

Actually @N8teGee When they offer a discount and can go towards any model.

Currently the Ionic is excluded from such discount though. @T1025 was asking if and when that will no longer be the case.
