Hi, I was using a watch face that was called "Big Weather". I liked that watch face since it had what I wanted to know the most. Then today, I am told if I want to continue using the watch face that I have to go to a website and enter a code. I did read in another thread that these watch faces are being "sold" by 3rd parties. Did I not pay enough for the Ionic that I now have to pay a fee to continue to use the watch face I chose. I did change my watch face and hope that I don't have to do so again.
I will not go to the site since I do not want to give my card information to an unknown 3rd party. I had to have my card changed because my old card was somehow compromised. I am not happy that I cannot pick a watch face and continue to use it. If there are paid for watch faces like "Big Weather" then they should be clearly label as purchase only. The labels do not warn your customers that certain faces are to be paid for if you want to continue to use them. And if they are to be "sold" then have them sold through Fitbit and not an unknown 3rd party that can put our card information in a compromised situation.
I am now using "Arc" as my watch face. I am hoping that this is one that is free and I can continue to use it without having to switch to a new watch face in the next three days. I really don't like this particular watch face but it will do for now.
So far I like my new Ionic with the exception of not being able to have the watch face that I chose when I first got it. If you have a list of the free watch faces that would be greatly appreciated. I am hoping that one will be a nice new look like "Big Weather" that would go well with the Ionic.

If there is a charge it is marked in the watch face description, including Big Weather. You have to click "read more" to expand the description to see there is a cost.
Android/Samsung have watches that are more expensive than the Ionic and they still have hundreds of faces that cost money.
If you don't like, I don't either, then choose from the several dozens of faces that are free.
I still wish Fitbit would segregate the free and the cost ones.... Or put a little $ icon on the I especially that cost.

Hi @RoseAnn_M. If you go to "clock faces" in the app on your phone and choose Pick a new Clock for your Ionic, you are presented with all the available clock faces.
The first ones that you see are made by fitbit and are free. There are plenty to choose from, and I'm sure you'll find one you like (Arc is one of them).
The rest are 3rd party apps and may or may not require a small fee to the developer.
Hope that helps and enjoy your new Ionic!
