Go into the fitbit app on your phone and select the account icon (top right corner) to view devices, select the Ionic and select the bin icon in the top right corner to remove it from you account. Now go back into account and select set up new device, select Ionic from the list and follow the steps. This should pair it to your phones Bluetooth again.
Best AnswerThanks N8teGee. To be honest I did a factory reset on my watch and reset my Iphone and started again before I got your reply. What I did was not ideal because it caused other issues but it worked in terms of reconnecting my phone and watch.
What you proposed looks like a better solution and I am sorry I did not try it.
