fitbit support - you need to fix the connectivity issues. Apps that rely on WiFi, constantly disconnect and very frustrating to try to update, unsuccessfully over and over. Also what is the purpose of having the “setup WiFi” if we are unable to control it. These issues will prompt lost of users. Fix it!

Welcome on board @Fwane, it's nice to see you here! Sorry to hear about the Wi-Fi connectivity issues you've been experience.

Can you please double check the following:

  • Open up the Fitbit App
  • Go to the Ionic on the top right of the home screen
  • Scroll down to General
  • There you will see Wi-Fi Settings > Setup Wi-Fi.

Also, the first time I got my Ionic I noticed that in the "about" section of the settings mine always showed "Wi-Fi off" but my Ionic seemed to be working fine. Given that the documentation says that it only turns Wi-Fi on when needed to save battery, I was wondering whether "Wi-Fi off" simply means it is not in use rather than it is not configured.

For additional troubleshooting steps, please see: Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
