On the computer app, I connect to my wi-fi and it says that the Ionic is connected. I press Sync now. But on the Ionic, the wi-fi stays deactivated

You are looking at 2 different things. Syncing does not involve the Ionic actually being connected with wifi. It's the wifi connection of whatever you are syncing with (phone, tablet, PC) that sends the syncing data to the Fitbit servers. Connecting your Ionic directly to your home wifi is for completing firmware updates or downloading music to your ionic.

Thanks for your reply. But how do I activate my wifi on my Ionic watch.
When I touch where it says wi-fi deactivated, nothing happens. Is there
somewfere else to activate the wifi
