My Note 8 just got the update to Android 9.0. Up until the update, everything was working very well with my Ionic. Since the update, it's not working nearly as well. I get almost constant restart bluetooth messages in the app and many times the watch will not sync unless I manually do it. I got up this morning to check my sleep time and the last time the watch synced was yesterday afternoon at 5:00. I am no longer able to receive notifications and for me, that was one of the most important aspects of this watch.
My watch is up to date on firmware and I have the most recent Fitbit software on the phone. I've tried all of the standard troubleshooting steps multiple times. Sometimes it will work for a while, but mostly it doesn't work well. Up until recently, I've only seen the restart bluetooth message a couple of times. Now I get them multiple times per day.
Are there any suggestions for fixing this?
