My fotbit stop recording the number of steps I've been taking it stopped at 8,216 it's been at that amount for 2 hours now what should I do?

Do a soft reset by holding down the left and bottom right buttons for 10 seconds.  My Ionic and Versa have done this before (most recently, the Versa did this today when I woke up).  Once the Fitbit logo appears and your tracker vibrates, the restart was a success, and you should be off to the races!
