adjusting settings on watch

I cant find the settings on the watch? 

and is the only way the screen appears is to lift your arm and look at it? Can the time always be on display?

the To change the settings for what you are asking, hold left (single) button. 

However, it only gives you an option of manual or auto (turning the wrist).

(I think) To have the watch face stay on all the time, you will need to download a watch face that allows this, from the fitbit app. You may have to scan through each face and read if it has the "always on" ability.

I cant also get to the screen where it shows brightness, backlight display etc?? how do i get there?

Swipe left until you see the settings icon (the wheel thing). brightness is in there.
