I've lost my left button on my Fitbit ionic. The watch is on warranty period, but my seller didn't want to replace it (there are no sign of mechanical damage, I don't realize when she fall down, just observe that's missing) under warranty condition. And if I have to pay for repairing is almost half of the watch price. Can it be repaired by FITBIT somwhere else? Can I contact FITBIT (I can't find a possibility to contact FITBIT service)?. I bought the watch in Romania in an Orange store.
Thanks,
Florin

Hi,
I cannot see this as a solution to buttons not working. my watch is currently in stop watch "countdown" mode with absolutely no way back to main screen. I cannot complete a restart on the watch because the back and select buttons do not work...
I can connect to the watch and force a change that will take it back to the watch display.
Is it possible to force a firmware update to the watch? Hoping that may correct the problem.
thanks

Sorry @SunsetRunner this thread is not about buttons not working, but about what functions do the buttons manage
So yes it might not be the solution to your unrelated question?
I've moved your post to a thread that is about lost buttons. See the post above yours. A missing problem is not the type of thing that the Fitbit users will be able to fix.

A warm welcome to the Community @Silkimmi and @SunsetRunner! I appreciate the details that you've mentioned regarding your Ionic's buttons.
If the button of your Ionic has been lost, you may want to contact our Customer Support team. They will continue assisting on this matter because buttons aren't replaceable.
If you're having difficulty with the buttons not working at all, you may want to try to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button.
Thanks for your advice @Rich_Laue!
I'll be around if you have any other questions!

I had the same issue where I lost the lower right button somehow. I contacted Fitbit, but they stated that it does not fall under their warranty coverage so they offered me a discount code to purchase a new one. I don't know how this could not be covered as it feels like it's a defect of the watch, but I did not want to debate with them at the time
I do have an old non functioning ionic that I have tried removing the button from, but cannot get it removed at all to see if I can place it where my missing button is. Sad that it can fall off so easily, but I cannot force one to be removed lol

Thank you for your response @ratcityrain, every case is evaluated individually, but Fitbit adheres to the Warranty Policies here when it comes to determine whether to provide discount or replacement. Thank you for providing your feedback and comments; this is always useful to improve services.
Thank you for the update as well @Silkimmi.
