fitbit ionic data not cleared sync and try again

Fitbit ionic is locked in screen with big X, can't do anything. Any help please appreciated?

You can try restarting it: restart

Hi there, I have tried about ten times but just keeps coming back to that screen with X.

Having the same problem here, and turning it on and off isnt working for me. Now stuck cause already sold my charge 2

 Hi,

 

I have the Fitbit ionic with a pixel Google Android phone. 

 

I have been trying to sync my Fitbit today after it being turned off for a week, after many attempts it would not sync. 

 

I reviewed the solutions on here and done the following steps:

 

- Remove from phone Bluetooth list

- remove from Fitbit app

- try reconnect device

- uninstall app and try reconnect device

 

After this I tried to reset the Fitbit back to factory settings and now it just says "data not cleared. Sync and try again". 

 

And it won't sync ever when I try 😞

 

Could anyone help? Feel like I have tried everything.

My boy friend just got me the ionic for Christmas, I had bought the blaze over the summer but had to return because I needed the money for bills, so he was sweet enough to get me the ionic for christmas....however I've been having lots of problems with it...first I had notifications coming through then none. Now I tried to factory reset it to try and fix the notification problem and now I'm stuck with this screen with a huge X on it saying data not cleared and to sync and try again...but it won't sync and nothing is working. Please help I don't want to have to tell my boyfriend to return my Christmas gift.
