fitbit ionic not starting after latest firmware update

today i updated my ionic to latest firm ware and after that it stopped charging and when i done a restart it gone dead. tried all the methods for restart but still no success if any one can help me in it . plz reply soon

@SunsetRunner, among the methods you used for restarting, did you press & hold all 3 buttons until the Fitbit logo appeared, and then release them?

that also i done ,any times since yesterday but no luck yet . its in deep sleep not even showing charging .

I had same problem, I restarted the device also  I waited the  battery  to completely discharge  but at restart it was still blocked. Who can help ??

its so frustrating i iven borrowed my father's ionic charging cord but still no luck. dont know what to do more

I think Fitbit needs to sort it out.  The update caused the problem.  They can't turn round and tell use to check out warranty links or offer discount.  If they don't get back to sorting this issue out, there are going to be many unhappy people.

absolutely right. they cant run away with this. my ionic was working perfectly its just due to this update which kills it. they have to sort out this issue as soon as possible.

Yes, I agree.  We all need to contact them on social media channels as much as possible to try to get something done!

i already posted about our issue on fitbit Instagram , Twitter , and Facebook pages. will request to all the ionic community who are face this issue to raise thier voices so that it can be heard .

Fitbit has  not only a great technical assistance but they care about customers.I'm sure they will find a solution.

BTW, I tried to re- initialized  the device, I restarted it twice,  I tried to add it again to the App , I delete the Bluetooth from existing  and still my Ionic has not restarted .

I tried to pair with  another phone, but still the device can not be found.

The issue happened during the system update and now is always on with the logo (see picture) even with full discharge did not restart.

So I'm sorry to say.. do not waste your time.

I have tried lots of ways too. I had great customer experience with online chat with my charge a few years ago. I still have hope...

Same thing happened to me today...started the firmware update and it died.  Tried to restart multiple times and nothing happened.  Blank screen, no vibration when charging cable is plugged in, no lights from the sensors on the back, nothing.  Was working fine until I did the update. Now it appears to be totally dead.  Has been plugged in for 2 hours but still nothing...guess it's just wishful thinking it will come back on!
