How often does the ionic sample my SpO2 while I'm sleeping? Depending on the read interval,  this could have big implications on the min SpO2 that is being given. Thanks.

@stub65, there is no specific time specified for when the SpO2 is measured, but "Fitbit SpO2 estimates your average blood oxygen saturation levels and range while you sleep."

See the Fitbit help article on the SpO2 function for more info on it: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2459.htm?Highlight=SpO2

Hey Larry - are you answering on behalf of fitbit or just as a community member? I did read the documentation and do some searching before asking.  I'm curious if I can get some insight beyond that since it would inform how seriously I take the min/max range. Ideally,  this would be exposed in the UX somewhere and maybe even be configurable so i could make the call myself on accuracy vs battery preservation.

I do not work for Fitbit, and I do not comment on their behalf. Any opinions I express are solely my own. My understanding of the accuracy of the reading is based on published Fitbit documentation which says it is an estimated average of SpO2 during the time of sleep.  Thus, I look only for changes to trends, and pay little attention to specific individual readings.  Good luck!
