iOS update on ionic has tanked my watch

I’ve had my ionic maybe a month. Worked great and loved it. Since trying to update.... several times, hours and hours of waiting, I have the features that it says I should but it still says I need to update in my app.  Won’t go to the exercise mode, keeps saying I need a new clockface every time I try to go into settings or exercise. I am beyond frustrated. This is ridiculous. I’m not tech savvy. I have restarted, turned off, re downloaded.... hours of wasted time. I’m about ready to get my money back. It worked great, why did you have to mess with it??

I mean....I try to avoid factory reset if I can because Then you HAVE to update it and that takes forever.

The thing stopped working once it needed to update. Factory reset was what got it done and it only took half hour

Finally got it. I did a live chat and they walked me through everything. The reset i was doing was just a power cycle. Took some time. But all good.
