ionic can't charge or turn on!

have an ionic. battery died when i was out without a cable. went home and unable to charge or turn on the device. tried all the different button press methods and cleaned the contacts. no joy with any troubleshooting. customer service is of no help, just asking to purchase a new device as mine is out of warranty.  Any other ideas to restart and charge my device since this has occurred to so many others??

i have the very same problem

it died cable was at work i was off three more days when i got to work i hooked it up it shouwed the 0 charge screen went back 5 hour later nothing now figured would be a waste of time calling for help i m also out of warrenty

think i might try new charger before i give up

lol at this point might try to pop apart and check battery its garbage now anyway
