Try a factory reset of your Ionic. Go to the Ionics settings app and scroll down to about. If that doesnt fix it you will need to contact Support (link in my signature )

On the Ionic, swipe left to Settings. Touch and scroll down to About.  Touch and scroll down to Factory Reset.

I'm having the same problem.

Also the step counter is clocking without movement (120,00 steps / 55 miles yesterday)

Heart rate monitor is not working, or intermittent, or wrong rate (140 bmp sat watching telly)

Battery charge is used up in a few hours.

Have factory reset twice.

I'm waiting for a response from support...

Update:  I got a replacement from Fitbit.  Just needed to tell them when and where I bought the device.
