My ionic keeps glitching and now keeps turning on and off, anyone else having this issue? Note that I just got this yesterday.

Fist thing to try if you haven't done so already would be to restart your Ionic. You can do this by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo).

on 9/3/2018 my Ionic stopped syncing and the time was wrong. I cannot figure out the problem! I have managed to sync several times but the time does not identify correct time. Help as this is so frustrating when it has a bug!

Mine is now shutting off and on randomly.

Turning off & on does not fix these issues! Clock time off & not syncing even when you try sync now on Fitbit app.

Sounds like a hardware issue then.
At this point it is probably best for you to contact customer support to discuss your options.

I contacted them again and they are sending me a new tracker since its not a expected problem. It was a hardware issue, thanks everyone who replied.
