I did this and a combination of the 0000 pin change and was then able disable device lock! Yippee!!!! Sorted in 5 minutes - something that the Fitbit support crew couldn’t manage after 5+ days of “support”. Thank you!

Thank you!!! A combination of the 3-button press and your 0000 pin code change has now enabled me to unlock my ionic - something Fitbit couldn’t do with 5+ days of “support”!!

Their fixes worked for me after 5+ days of Fitbit support still resulted in a locked ionic.

This worked for me; do the 3-button reset. Then when ionic back up and working (but probably still locked - I managed one swipe to other screens before it locked again) go into the app and change device pin to 0000. Then disable pin code (will probably only allow if no card set up on the ionic - if you have a card set up, remove it first using the app). I found this worked for me after ionic locked for 5+ days and 5+ days of Fitbit “support”. Looks like they know about this but don’t pass it on to customers during “support” - or have forgotten it?

Hey, I am having some problems. My device is locked and as I try to unlock and change the pin it says it cannot connect to my iconic. Even though it syncs all the time. Hope you can help thanks.

As I previously said it is not that part that I am having issues with. It is coming up with an error when trying to connect to my device even though it syncs all the time. I enter a new pin and the error message comes up.

Thanks for the screenshot that you've attached @Ryan_mccarthy. In this case, I would like you to log out from your app, force quit it and then log back in. Before, setting up another PIN, you may want to restart your Ionic as well.
