"Clock Error"

Hey everyone and tech support,

Yesterday (March 19, 2019) at about 1:00 or 1:30 p.m. EST, my watch face just went kaput. My entire watch is still functional--I can use music and connect with my headphones, use timers, use the fitness app, and everything still counts--steps, flights, blah blah blah--but my watch face is gone.

I tried to install a new watch face, but when I go into my phone app or laptop app to do this and click "My Clock" to put another watch face on, it keeps telling me "Continue installing? Some applications did not finish installing. Do you want to continue installing them now?" I wasn't in the middle of installing any apps when this happened. Anyway, when I click Continue to allow it to finish installing whatever apps these are, it never finishes. It's gone two...three...four hours and nothing's changed.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? I *really* don't want to do a factory reset because it's a freaking whole-day production just to get it to reset and then reload my music on there and blah blah blah. Any other ideas?

Okay, wouldn't you know it, as soon as--as soon as--I click Post, my new watch face finished installing. Not the best one, but it was a hail mary test. Now I guess I'll try to put one in that I like. Guess it was time for a change (my old watch face has been with me since day 1, but I loved it). I'll keep this post alive in case anyone has a similar issue and someone has a better answer than my "it just started working."

Unfortunately these uninstalled apps still aren't installed. Does anyone know how to get them to finally install (after 4+ hours) or even what they are?

Hi @lostinwebspace.

A tip that I find always works for me is to put the Ionic on charge when I want to install something, this forces it to do the download over WiFi (obviously you need to make sure you have set that up) which is quicker and much more reliable.
