I have Fitbit Ionic. After reading few posts, it looks like some people have similar problems but mine is little bit different.
.All I see is the logo instead of black screen. So I did the 3 button reset but than it says "Data not cleared. Sync & try again"
I hate to get a new watch so if anyone have any other ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

The message displaying on your Ionic device is because the firmware update version wasn't updated correctly, therefore, I recommend you to check help article for more information about how the firmware update procedure works and then, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
