This morning my Ionic would not sync with my phone.  I tried first turning bluetooth off and on, then turning both devices off and on again and nothing helped.  Then removed the ionic from my phone and tried to reinstall, as per the advice with syncing problems, and now my phone can't find my ionic.  The Ionic is charged and plugged in, my phone is right next to it.  Help??

I'm not sure that turning the fitbit off and on does the same as the restart procedure so it's worth trying that:

 

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons

One thing that has worked for me in the past is forgetting the link to the fitbit in the phone's bluetooth settings.
