worn contact on Ionic

The center contact on my Ionic seem to be worn almost away. Charging is intermittent and have to wiggle the charger cable around to get it to charge. And then hope it stays in that position or it stops charging.  Is there any way to repair the contacts or replace the back of the Ionic? It is the same if I use a cable or the charging dock.

Short answer is no. Your best bet is to use your warranty if the device is still under warranty. - although "wear" suggests it's well past the warranty period?

Tried another cable? Plenty of cheap replacements available on eBay if you don't want to pay the price for an "original" one.
