I know I swim 1K (20 laps of a 50 m pool) but my ionic keeps telling me I only swam 500m. Any idea? Cheers

@pierryves Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the information shared.

I would like you to confirm you've set the pool length on your Ionic. If you have but the data is still wrong, please check the following scenarios:

  • You completed only a few laps
  • You stopped to rest multiple times or in the middle of the pool
  • You stopped to rest for longer than 60 seconds after completing a pool length
  • You changed your stroke type midway through a length
  • You swam with a kickboard or without using your arms
  • You swam less than the minimum duration needed for your swim to be automatically recognized

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Hi Sylvia,
No I haven’t set the pool length in my Fitbit. It may be it. I do you do that?
