Clock face unavailable when using apps

Just started a return process on my fitbit luxe.

Only listing cons here, in order of importance- if some of these are ever fixed, then maybe I will purchase the watch again and keep it.

1. When using the timer and exercise apps, I cannot scroll to the main clock screen. Why can't these apps be running in the background as I am doing other things, like checking the time or flipping through my notifications? Surely I cannot be the only person who would like to know the time of day during a 5-hour hike? A completely illogical limitation!

2. In some menus double-tapping the watch face does not bring me back to the home screen - the watch requires me to make some kind of selection first. For example, if I select 'quick reply' to a text, and then change my mind aboit sending it, no amount of double-tapping brings me back to the home screen. It would be nice if double tapping would return you to the home screen whichever menu you are in at the time (or if there was some kind of 'back/cancel' button or gesture or something - anything).

3. No app included to control music on one's phone remotely. Bit of a luxury, but would be very useful. If the company is really intent on limiting consumers' choices in order to push them toward more expensive models, can't they just limit the number of apps that can be enabled on the cheaper devices?

4. Clock faces - it looks like there are a lot of choices, but most of them are very similar stylistically. Why not just allow the users to take any random images from their phones and use them as a style 'background' with a simple clock overlay?

I confess that I find these issues the most irritating because I have been spoiled for customization by my severely outdated samsung gear fit 1. However, for CA$170 price (or even a $130 sale price), issues 1 and 2 should be addressed, as they severely interfere with the overall functionality.

While exercising @Mina8 scroll through all the available screens, you will see a screen that does show the time.

For the stopwatch, yes the time is not available..

As for going back, try a left>right back swipe.

Yes as a budget device, fitbit chose to leave music control off. This function does require an additional Non low energy Bluetooth connection with android phones.

I agree with the limited click faces.
