EDIT SWIM DOES'NT WORK

I want to edit a swim.   When I open the swim display, it shows an edit icon (pencil).  I can click it and change the content (number of yards, as it doesn't count kicking). I save.  The save doesn't happen, and it opens as it was before I tried.  I have done this several times.  EDIT IS NOT WORKING
