Fat burn zone change

Swapped my Alta HR for a new fitbit Luxe this week. My fat burn zone has apparently now shifted from 88-123 to 110-130 just by switching fitbit device and I can't see why. Even if I manually change my max heart rate the fat burn zone doesn't alter. Any ideas?

Hello @Catherine85 and welcome to the Help forum.  Your Alta HR awarded active minutes.  Active minutes use the common 220 - age = maximum predicted heart rate, then calculated your zones.  Your Luxe awards active zone minutes.  The active zone minute equation uses your resting heart rate as part of the equation.  Exercise zones that use resting heart rate are considered to be more personalized and accurate than the other method.  The method used by your Alta HR is known to award active minutes for activity that doesn't meet the criteria for moderate exercise.

I don't recommend changing the zones unless there are medical reasons.  You can read more in the Fitbit Blog.
