Fitbit Luxe Factory Reset

I bought a new-in-the-box Fitbit Luxe. I used it for about a month, and I’m selling it because I don’t use it anymore. I did a factory reset on it, and deleted my account, but now the only screen that shows is “Download the Fitbit Mobile App” with a photo of a phone and the date that I originally downloaded it. I thought that I reset it, and I don’t want to give it to the buyer like this. Will it go away when the buyer downloads the app and sets it up like a new device? Any help to fix this issue is much appreciate.

 Hello @fahai8 and welcome to the Community.  If you followed the steps, and your Luxe did all the steps in the Erase Luxe path, then your data is removed.  You see the activation date, because you can still change your mind, add it back to your account, and have warranty coverage.

You wrote that you bought it about a month ago.  If you bought it from Fitbit, there is a 45 day refund window.  This might apply to you.
