Fitbit Luxe battery issues

I see below that one of the several threads on this topic has been closed as "Answered", but I would suggest that is misleading: I'm having exactly the same problems with battery drain, unresponsiveness, and not charging. I can restart my device, but cannot make the procedure for factory reset work (pushing three times on the button on the charger and so on). I have followed all the steps Fitbit suggests on their pages, and contacted customer services. I have updated, I have removed the device from the app and added it again. But nothing seems to work. 

I'm starting to regret buying this device.

One issue, regarding the units for water measurements, has been resolved. There was/is a bug so that if dl is selected rather than ml, the water target will still display in oz. Nothing else has been resolved. Thanks for the follow-up, but please note that the power issue persists.
