Fitbit Luxe connectivity issues

I got my Luxe yesterday and it's totally useless. It took me 2 hours and like 50 attempts/restarts/reinstalls to pair. I tried 2 different Android phones and one was a top shelf one.

 

I tried updating the tracker's software but it can't hold a connection longer than 1 minute while it says update can last 30 minutes.

 

My Versa 2's beginnings were hard too, I tried updating for 2 days but finally it worked and now it syncs without problems.

 

So of course I want to stay with my Versa and return the Luxe but I wanted to ask if anyone here tried replacing their Luxe and if it helped. Luxe looks really cute... but that's the only positive thing I can say about if for now 😼

Hi, @Adaminion, welcome, may I suggest you review this video and these articles How do I set up my Fitbit device? and Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? You do not mention what make & model of mobile phone you use, most will work but those mentioned in this article may have issues. If you have considered this advice and progress still escapes you I suggest you talk to Customer Support here Use the chat facility or phone for a prompt response.

With android, simply turning on the tracker will be detected by the Fitbit app and the connection process has started.

Oh of course, the moment Luxe got out of the box the phone did start the process. The problem is it could never finish it, despite my 30 attempts 😀

My phone wasn't on that list and I've had different Fitbit models for about 4 years. Thank you but I don't need to watch videos how to do it, I paired different models for entire family maybe a few hundred times 😀

 

BTW, after 45 minutes I did manage to pair Luxe with the phone. So what? It couldn't sync. The next evening it said, "Last sync - 2 am". I've already returned the device and I'll stick to my Versa 2.
