Fitbit Luxe stopped working

I've had my Luxe for a little over a year and the silent alarm feature has stopped working. When the alarm goes off, it buzzes once, then the screen goes black and it will only restart if plugged in to the charger. It shows the blue Fitbit logo when restarting. My battery life has also decreased significantly. Of course it's just past the warranty and can't be replaced, so really hoping for a fix.

Thanks. Support was not helpful. All thet did was tell me to restart the device and turn off battery draining features (which I didn't have on in the first place). When that didn't help, they told me to buy a new Fitbit. I posted hoping that someone might have a real answer for me.

 

I've been a fitbit user for years, but I will certainly not be buying another fitbit if I can expect them to stop working after such a short time (and conveniently just after the end of the warranty period).
