I just received a Luxe for my wife. I went to my phone's Fitbit app and disconnected my Charge 2. I followed all of the instructions and started the pairing/connection process. The phone said Found It, I then put in the four-digit codes, and the phone said connecting and the Luxe said pairing. It failed. I then followed the instructions of turning Bluetooth on and off and restarting the Luxe via the USB cable. Tried this several times and always got the same result that the process failed. I am running a Galaxy S7 and android 8 which may be the problem. However, on my identical phone running Android 8, I have successfully connected a new Fitbit Sense. I would think that if a Sense works then the Luxe should also.
I would appreciate any suggestions

Update - on my original post it may be confusing which phone is being used. I was attempting to install the Luxe on my wife's phone. She had Charge 2. which I uninstalled I did nothing with my android phone and her Luxe watch. All the info regards her phone and the new Luxe.

Final post. The issue turned out to be I need to update the Fitbit app on her phone. Then the two devices connected properly. Unfortunately, the Luxe display is just too hard to see, as the numbers and text is too small, and the phone was returned yesterday.
