Fitbit Luxe won't update

I attempted to add a device (Fitbit Luxe) and receive screen saying to update my Fitbit app. I am updated with the latest version and still receive the need to update message.

@MemaMoy Please try removing your Fitbit Luxe from your phone's Bluetooth settings and the Fitbit app. Then, proceed to set it up once again. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device? Once it's paired, try to update it

I had the same problem.  I have an Iphone...I deleted the app off of my phone, reinstalled the app and was able to set up the Luxe as my device.  Hope this will work for you as well.
