My HR device was able to alert me to my Clarevision doorbell.  When I changed over to the Luxe, I can't see how to go back and add this.  I can't even see how to add any apps that are not already on my Fitbit app for notifications.  Can anyone help me figure this out?

In this case, I would recommend visiting this article, open the menu "How do I set up notifications?" and follow the instructions. There you'll find a guide to choose other apps you want notifications from.
