How do I disable certain notifications on my Luxe?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since last update I am getting notifications to wake up and what my pace is. I didn't add either one of them! The only one I want is: when I reach 10,000 steps! I tap and swipe to turn off these and nothing happens! How do I get rid of them? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, @sataytoo. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Luxe.

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking that certain notifications are and aren't enable as desire by following the above steps:

  1. Tap the Today tab and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. For each item, review and adjust your notifications settings.

If the above doesn't work and you receive messages like "Look Alive", please note that this is part of your alarms and it seems like you have Smart Wake feature enable. Smart Wake attempts to find the best time to wake you starting 30 minutes before the alarm time you set. For more information, see How do I set an alarm on my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

Now this a.m. it only recorded 6,330 steps on my usual everyday 4.5 miles walk!! This thing worked fine until last update!! Why did it do that???

@sataytoo I understand where your concern is coming from.

If you feel that your step count and distance are inaccurate, confirm the following are correct in the Fitbit app:

Since we use height to estimate your walking and running stride lengths, you may want to measure and manually adjust these values if your legs are longer or shorter than average. For more information, see How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?

Sometimes, when you start walking, your steps may not update on your device right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real time with each step you take. For more information, see: How accurate are Fitbit devices?

See you around.

Thanks for the reply, but it Didn't work. Still getting them. I went to the app on my iPad to try to turn it off there, and I don't have an "Alarm" notification or see it there! So, now what?? This is getting irritating! All I want is a notification that I have gone 10,000 steps the rest of it I don't want or need!! am wishing I had the last update!!!
