The text cannot “fit” your screen because your screen did not get larger. People are complaining about the text scrolling or breaking up onto multiple lines. Not everyone needs it to be so large and it seriously affected the scrolling.

I am so pleased with the update! 

 

I love the larger font. (And my vision is excellent.) But I agree with those asking to make it a user adjustable setting. Personally, I don’t care if the settings menus get cut off. I go in there once a month at most.

 

I am enjoying the always on display. Haven’t gotten any sp02 data yet (but I’m sure it will come in time).

@Chakoboy Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Luxe and for your efforts in trying to solve it. If you're still having issues, I suggest trying the following steps:

 

  • Remove your Luxe from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Luxe again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Luxe.
  • Complete the firmware update.

 

@Avivaaa I'm sorry to hear you stopped receiving all kind of notifications after the update. I understand how you must be feeling.

@raenae888 If you haven't done so yet, please try to remove and re-add the alarms to see if that fixes the issue. For more information, see How do I manage alarms on my Fitbit device?

 

@mookielady Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I would recommend restarting your Tracker by following these instructions.

 

In addition, you can set up your Luxe as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Since the update, all of a sudden when trying to view games I'm playing against friends I receive a notification that the app Connor connect to the internet. I restarted my phone, restarted the Luxe and everything else in my house is connecting to my wifi just fine. It's just the premium games. The luxe is more than 60% charged. 

 

Very annoying as the games are the most frequently used feature for me.

I love the SpO2 addition and very happy with the new font size. My only problem following the update was that 7 days of my exercise was wiped from my app though it did still appear on the website dashboard.

I completed the update and now my Fitbit Luxe can’t connect to my phone via Bluetooth.  I have tried to connect via two different phones with the same result.  I have followed all of the troubleshooting tips including restarting the device, turning my phone’s BT on/off, and logging on/off the app.  Nothing helps.  My phone can find it but can’t connect before the attempt times out.  This did not happen until I completed the update.

That’s what mine did too—I contacted support and ran through all the troubleshooting. Nothing worked. I have to now return my luxe and wait for a replacement. Extremely annoying since everything was fine before the update.

I’ve been getting all other data but no SpO2 data after the update - on the device itself I don’t have the SpO2 showing either - I did get the always on display though. Is SpO2 region locked?

I totally agree Megseels ... so annoying! The screen preview pictures for Simpler on the app shows the full step count should display on the main screen but I too am only getting an abbreviated step count and it's rubbish.  Come on Fitbit ... please change it back!

A couple years ago one of my suggestions was implemented, as it had a lot of votes and people that wanted it. Once it was implemented I got a message from Fitbit thanking me and as a reward my votes are now worth 5 votes instead of one.

The font is far to big following the update. The text is blurry and doesn't fit on the screen, causing the text to scroll.

 

Please make the font size a choice for the user.

Im not happy with the update.

Time is 2 hours behind out of the blue.

Recharge goes hard.

Alarm clock does not go off at the time it's set.

I did see some people complaining about font size too small on the forum before purchase. But I was not expecting Fitbit to just increase font size for everyone without an option… It really does not look so nice when you have title of major “apps” like “Notifications” scrolling…

I know you have already acknowledged this, but in case it helps to have higher numbers, I also wish the text were small again or at least be an optional function. Yes, the text is small, but it is a small Fitbit for small wrists and I think people can purchase the larger model if text size is a problem.

Since the firmware update, my heart rate stops tracking frequently during all exercises. I reached out to customer service who went through the standard how to wear it and restart it etc etc but it’s been a daily issue. I had zero issues before the update and have worn a FitBit tracker for years and was part of field testing for this Luxe with zero issues - until the update. Now the sensors aren’t tracking heart rate during exercise - there are dashes instead. Customer service said they’d have a member of the team email me but I haven’t heard anything. I need my tracker to work again. Would love a way to remove updates when they make things worse but for now would love a fix so I can effectively track my exercise again.

Making the font size bigger has made the watch unusable and simple QA would have identified it as a issue. Pretty disappointing.
