It's not uncommon that a device as some HW features that are never (or very late) enabled. To remain in Fitbit let's remember the temperature sensor of the Ionic that was first listed as a sensor but never enabled, then removed from the datasheet and finally resurfaced only few months ago.

Perhaps it always work, independent of the setting: Dim/normal/Max?
Anyway, why there is nothing mentioned about skin temp sensor but they write it tracks skin temp changes in the manual?
