Luxe battery dead

I just bought my Luxe a few months ago and was fine up until the last time I needed to charge it.  I have tried all the troubleshooting suggesting and nothing works.  It now says my battery is completely empty.   Discouraged to the point of wanting a refund.  I'm obviously not the only person with this issue.  What to do?

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @Lives2Travel. Thanks for the response.

Since you tried the steps and they didn't work and report experiencing the same behavior on your Luxe, I need additional information from you that would best be shared privately. I’m sharing a link to a form for you to fill out so we can look into this further.

This form is only meant for you to use, so let me know once you’re done

I've tried troubleshooting; what's the next step for a replacement?

Spoiler
Your Luxe battery might be completely drained or faulty. Have you tried a different charger or letting it charge for an hour or two uninterrupted? Also, try a long-press reset if it responds. If nothing works, contacting Fitbit Support would be the best step. Hope it gets resolved soon! My first draft of a cause and effect essay was a mess, and I needed serious help. I found https://academized.com/blog/cause-and-effect-essay and the examples there made everything click. The structure Academized provided helped me revise my essay, creating a logical flow of events, and wrapping it all up in a strong conclusion. I finally felt proud of what I submitted.

Hi Sam.  I just went through the same thing with a Luxe that was only 2 months old (see posts from Lives2Travel).  Since the unit was still under warranty, I was able to send it back at no expense to me.  Fitbit was very responsive to my post, and arranged for the return.  It was just received by them yesterday, so I'm waiting for my replacement.  Sadly, though, it looks to be a fairly common problem with these units.  Hope you get a response soon from Fitbit.
